Me: Nicholas Ramos (software engineer intern)
|
||
|
||
- Born in the U.S. - Puerto Rican heritage
|
||
- Spent most of my life in / near Chicago in Illinois
|
||
|
||
- Studied Mandarin Chinese in high school, enjoyed it a lot, was the first language I learned besides English (cannot speak Spanish haha)
|
||
- I can speak a tiny bit of Cantonese, a southern Chinese dialect, as well, found it fun to learn about the different Chinese dialects and choose one to study a bit
|
||
- After a lot of research and uncertainty, decided to (try to) go to Tsinghua University in Beijing for university, studying Software Engineering
|
||
- After studying for 2 years, started working in blockchain while studying doing web development for about a year
|
||
- (now) Got an internship at Luminovo! (very excited about using Rust and Typescript)
|
